NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Meeting of the Members of The Society of Professional Accountants of Canada and affiliates: Society of Professional Accountants of Ontario, The Canadian Institute of Accredited Public Accountants, The Institute of Accredited Public Accountants of Ontario and Société des Comptables Professionnels du Québecwill be held at City of Toronto, York Civic Centre - Council Chambers (Second Floor), 2700 Eglinton Avenue West Toronto, Ontario (M6M 1V1) on Saturday December 6, 2008 at the hour of 9.30 o’clock in the forenoon, Toronto City time, for the following purposes:

(i)	Receiving, considering and approving the Treasurer’s Report for the past fiscal year, which ended July 31, 2008.

(ii)	Elect Directors.

(iii)	Transact such further business as may properly come before the meeting.

Members who will not be attending the meeting are requested to date, sign, and return the accompanying proxy to: 250 Consumers Road, Suite 1007 Toronto, Ontario Canada M2J 4V6

Only members in good standing are entitled to attend, participate, and vote at the meeting.

A person designated RPA is a member of a professional accounting body. If that person possesses the same level of competence and experience as members of the other accounting bodies, such as a CA, a CGA, or a CMA, that RPA can effectively compete with members of those bodies in the job market.
