Membership Information Brochure
Admission to membership is by successful completion of the
Mandatory Accreditation Examinations,
following the course of studies, covering prerequisites required for
the competence in accountancy listed in the Educational program established by
the Society and the passing of the Mandatory Accreditation Examinations.
The names of applicants who successfully complete the
Mandatory Accreditation Examinations
are entered in the Society's register of designated members and thus,
are authorized by the Society to use the designatory letters "R.P.A.",
an abbreviation which represents, Registered Professional Accountant,
(Comptable Professionnel Enregistre).
Application Form
Applicants who have previously completed courses from recognized educational
institutions and other professional accounting bodies may apply for exemptions.
To apply for exemptions and enrolment in The Society of Professional
Accountants of Canada program, please comply with the following:

Complete the
Application For Enrolment
and attach the non-refundable registration fee by cheque or money order
made payable to The Society of Professional Accountants of Canada.
- Official documents will be returned to you.

Upon acceptance as a candidate, the Mandatory Accreditation Examination
fee will be required to be submitted.
