| Eligibility |
Any person who wishes to achieve competence in the practise of accountancy,
either in the private or public sector and will diligently embark on a program
leading to the qualifying examinations.
Applicants in possession of one or more
of the following Canadian designations:
- A.P.A.
- C.A.
- C.G.A.
- C.M.A.
and
those with the U.S. - C.P.A. and U.K. A.C.C.A. designation and comparable qualifications from other
jurisdictions are eligible for exemption from the prerequisite course requirements
but must successfully attempt the
Mandatory Accreditation Examinations.
Evidence of at least three years of practical experience in accountancy is a
requirement for admission to membership.
